Cormac worked with the Emerging-Musician-in-Residence Lara Gallagher, and Richard Hughes over the course of a number of months to devise an improvisational performance piece that aimed to emulate, capture and warp the sounds present in this area, and to create a compelling work that challenged people to focus on their sonic environments, call into question our relationship to these environments, and highlight how these are constantly being infringed upon and changed. The performance took place in the DLR LexIcon and was a huge success. This work was sponsored by the Arts Council of Ireland and Music Network.
