Crystal Jelly Fusion’s debut album, ‘Traipsing About’ was released on 22nd September 2020 on Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms. The work is a collection of dreams and memories of specific, highly influential moments in his life juxtaposed with a sci-fi, mythological/mystical element of adventure, possession and becoming.
The album follows the listener as they embark on a journey to Traipsing About itself, a sonic universe that exists outside of our own. A journey on this sonic plane includes dream-like experiences, magical forces, wonder at the natural world, and self-actualisation.
Written, recorded, produced, mixed and mastered by Cormac himself, it is an incredibly dense first work, which promises much more exciting projects in the future.
The lyrical content focuses on themes of philosophy, existentialism and ego, travel, self-actualisation, and adventures with those close to him.
